Why Action is the Most Important Word in Business

Say you have a great idea with a great plan. You have worked on it for months and months and months. Now what? No action, no sales. I have met many business people who are full of ideas but have never taken action. These people call themselves business people but they are not. They are dreamers.
A business person is somebody who takes action, who is not scared of taking a calculated risk. A dreamer finds comfort in their ideas and always wonders “What if?”
So, which one are you? Have had lots of ideas that never came to fruition? Well if you are today is the day to change all that. We are what we habitually do. If you dream all the time then you are a dreamer. If you stop dreaming and start taking action, you are becoming the person you imagine in your head. Do the first thing today and take action.
Once you have decided to take action look at your ideas. Are they based on sound foundations or are they a product of your dreaming? If they are sound start thinking about how you can get to the next level. Look at your end goal and then work backwards writing done each step so that you can follow them through. If your ideas are not sound what can you do? Do you go back to being a dreamer? No, you think hard about what you want in life and then work back again writing down each step of the way.
You see the biggest thing that people do not realise is that the product or service that you are selling is only a percentage of the overall deal. In fact, if you know how to make people take action like hopefully you are now, the product or service is even less important.
Remember, when somebody says what is the most important word in business, know that the reality is action.
