1. Plan. At my finest Im organized and even in the moments where everything is a little crazy, trust me, there is a method to the madness. I have a notebook or two and a day planner. My notebooks contain a master copy of my daily schedule and a detailed list of things I need on a day to day basis and for travel and seminars. These things provide a map to keep it together. Get organized and stay on schedule. I suggest incorporating a planner to help you keep it together.
2. Write your vision. A vision is your lifes master statement. I keep a copy of mine in my notebook and excerpts of my vision throughout my day planner so that I can stay clear on who I am and where I am going. Your vision should
3. Focus and develop. Consistency is key in being great. Educate yourself about what it takes for you to achieve your goals. It is not good enough to just be passionate. You have to be great at what you are passionate about. That means being informed about every detail of what it takes to achieve your goals. Everything from accounting, branding, marketing and networking.know your stuff. The internet, your mentor and your local bookstore are all valuable resources. Tap them for knowledge.
4. Dream big. If you can dream it, you can achieve it. What are your wildest dreams for yourself and your business or career?
5. Have faith and work hard. Faith without works is dead. Frankly put, no matter how great you believe you are unless you can show it.
6. Brand. Coca Cola does it, Campbell soup does it and so does Tyra Banks so why arent you? Whether you are CEO or a rising professional, it is important to brand yourself. Craft everything from your business cards, business to business relationships to your excellent service to establish yourself as a professional and winning brand.
Make it a part of your schedule to develop your schedule, your plan and your vision in order to launch your own success whether it be in business or in your life.
