Known by a few different names, Network marketing, multi-level marketing, or direct selling it is all the same. I worked for a couple that is self-made millionaires through their network marketing business. Many people like Zig Zigler, Jim Rohn, Denise Waitley and John Di Lemme started out in network marketing and made millions in this field. The nice thing about network marketing is that you can earn from what people love to buy and as long as they are buying, you are earning. Its called residual income.
Residual income is a percentage of sales that you earn as long as customers are buying the product from the parent company. Now days you usually do not have to stock any product, and all transactions can be done either on the phone or on the Internet. You do have to qualify yourself each month by buying a minimum of product, but that should be expected because, how will you sell the product or service if you are not using it yourself. It would not say much for that product or service.
No matter what you decide you will have to be a product of your product.
I know, I said the word sell and you are probably saying to yourself, I do not want to be a salesperson or Im not a salesperson. Well let me just say, We Are All Sales People. The last time you asked your boss for a day off that was not one of your normal days off, didn’t you have to sell him on the idea to give you that day off. Children sell their teachers on why they didn’t get their homework done on time and you even sell yourself on things that you buy that are not necessarily needed.
Come on now think of the last frivolous purchase you made. You probably had a conversation with yourself that went something like this. Well I really dont need it but, if I got it I would have it when I do need it, and if I get it now I wont have to get it when I need it, and so on and so on. You are selling yourself to buy whatever it is you want.
Network Marketing usually does not take a lot of capital. You can join a company for as little as $50 and up to a couple of thousand. The main thing you will want to find out when asking how much it is to join a company is, what is the best level to join at to get the most commissions, how much will it cost, and how much do I have to sell to qualify for commission checks every month.
Be sure to ask these questions, because you do not want to have to move 12 cases, with 12 bottles in each case, at a cost of $30 or more a bottle just to get a check at the end of the month. Believe me, been there, done that. You end up loosing momentum after your first month of not getting a check and having product left over that you couldn’t get rid of.
There are a lot of great companies out in this field that sell products like nutritional supplements, my choice of favorites because of the shape the world is in today, gas saving ideas, makeup, skin care, legal advise, and just about anything else you can think of there is probably some company selling it through Network Marketing.
Just be sure to check out the compensation and the minimum monthly purchases. As well as having a good product.
