Successful Entrepreneur’s Told Not To Start A Business Too – Don’t Get Discouraged

Business ownership is as American as apple pie. It is the big dream of being your own boss and creating your own schedule. What many people don’t realize before they dive right in is that dream comes with a big dose of sweat, blood and tears. Your good friends and family will try to stop you from jumping into the murky waters of being an Entrepreneur.

When starting a business, every aspect of the business is unknown. Who will be your customers? What will they buy from you? At what price? Is it enough business for you to survive but more importantly prosper? How many employees will you need? When will you go from red ink to black? Will you ever succeed?

If you think those questions are hard to answer then imagine a banker trying to analyze whether he is going to lend you money. With no past history of success in the same field your chances are slim to none. There are other alternatives now with peer-to-peer lending but there too you will be labeled “very risky” and expect to pay high interest rates.

That all said, it is not meant to discourage you but to encourage you. To make sure that you bring enough wood to keep your entrepreneurship fire well stoked. You need to have determination, guts, flexibility, a keen understanding of what your customers want and give it to them at a price that they are willing to pay.

The biggest naysayers will be your family and friends because they “care” about you. There are no great gains without great risks my friend. Burn your boats. Let there be no retreat but glory at making it to your dreams or die trying. Failure is nonexistent if you learn from them. Embrace them. Understand why it happened and make sure it doesn’t happen again. Failure is inaction. Your decision to stop you from succeeding.

You might think that you are alone on this quest for your freedom or your family’s freedom. That is where you are wrong. The path is well worn and you just need to look out for the signs to success.
