If you need a certain skill before you can start your business venture, then it is advisable to educate yourself before you get started. If a business you are aiming at is licensed, you need to get a licence before you can open up your business to your customers.

If you are planning, for instance, to become a plastic surgeon and start your own business once you have finished your education, your business venture is short-lived if you do not have the necessary training. But you might want to start a business where you rent premises for plastic surgeons who intend to start a business selling their services. There is almost always more than one way to skin a cat.

Self confidence is not built in a day or two. It usually takes a little bit longer. However, when the reason you are starting a business is clear to you and you get started, every achievement in your journey towards your business goal strengthens your belief in yourself.
