Entrepreneur and Free Rent
January 6th, 2008 Filed under: Uncategorized — Small Home Business AuthorIf there is one thing we do not need as entrepreneurs it is giving away free rent to the naysayers of our circle, whether family, friends, or acquaintances as it is a recipe for a major disaster. We feed our cars with fuel and oils. We feed our pets with pet food, we feed our lawns with fertilizer and yet we feed our bodies with food and water but we rarely feed our minds with positive reinforcement or personal development.
Why is that I wonder? It is estimated that less than 10% of the population do all they can to feed their minds so they may reach their objectives and one has to wonder what do the other 90% do?
They do nothing because they rent out their minds free of charge to dream stealers and so do not have room for personal development and have lost the desire to grow and live the life they once thought possible. Basically their zest for life has been sabotaged.
Free rent is also given to memories of words once heard but the good news is that through positive reinforcement this may be reversed but it does take practice and you know practice makes perfect sense too.
This year of 2008 will be a chance to make new years resolutions but to actually re-invent yourself and by doing so you will enable your entrepreneurial spirit to manifest within your being.
As an entrepreneur you have to realize that it takes constant and then again constant and ever more repeated invigorating words of encouragement to fulfill your dreams of a better life. Imagine a marathon athlete deciding to train infrequently before a major marathon, disaster right? Well then why not train your mind repeatedly for the successes you desire; just like successful athletes train repeatedly?
It is said that an excellent exercise is to write the life you desire in the present tense down to the last aroma and falling leaf and fluttering butterfly with even the magical humming birds flying and feeding at your humming bird feeder.
Recreate your life with the details that apply to you and not any writer because it has to have the feelings of the essence of you right down to the last detail and written in the present tense and keep a copy of this with you as a constant reminder of where it is you are heading and then allow the vehicle that best suits your needs to transport you to the life of your dreams.
To keep your mind rent free and clear of negativity read great inspirational books, do life enhancing good deeds, listen to motivational media and above all: Love Yourself so you may love the ones you are blessed to have in your life: your family, your friends and your acquaintances for everyone has a part in your life so love them all but cherish those you truly need to. Vote in the next presidential election too. It is your right and as an entrepreneur it is your duty to vote. VOTE!
