Emotionally Self-Empowered In Business – A True Business Asset

December 24th, 2007 Filed under: Uncategorized — Small Home Business Author

You have the power within you today to grow, prosper and thrive in your small business!

The BIG question — Are you ready to give yourself permission to achieve and enjoy emotional and financial success?

It’s not that you don’t have the technical or practical “how-to” skills to grow your business. I’m sure you have more than enough technical “how-to” skills. It’s time for you to take a look at the emotional/internal success skills of small business success.p>

It’s about being emotionally self-empowered in business.

What’s going on in the inside (emotionally) is extremely POWERFUL! How you talk to yourself and treat yourself may be even more important than the practical “how-to” skills.

Along my own success journey, here’s what I’ve figured out:

You can go to every training, you can read every self-development book, be on every skills building teleconference but, if you haven’t truly given yourself the permission to succeed and enjoy success, you’ll be placing road-blocks along the path to life long success and happiness.

It’s time to take pen and paper, find a quiet chair and get ready to do a little internal “soul-searching.”

You may not be able to answer these questions immediately – you may want to allow them to roll around in your mind a few days.

From personal experience, I’ve found that until you allow yourself the emotional empowerment of writing out these answers, you’ll probably keep the brakes on your success.

  1. What does success mean to you? How will you know when you’ve achieved success? What does success look and feel like – emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually?
  2. What will it take to make you truly happy? How will you know when you’ve achieved complete happiness?

We’re talking the kind of happiness that first thing in the morning when your feet hit the floor you say, “I love my life!” What does this type of happiness look and feel like – emotionally, physically, financially and spiritually?

In my own life, I realized that unless and until I had a clear picture of what success really meant and what happiness felt like for me personally, I was constantly searching for a magic bullet that would give me success and happiness.

Success Tip: There is no magic bullet — you create and control your own magic!

Your inner motivators to succeed, thrive and excel are the business tools that will propel you to the top. An empowered mind-set is your greatest business asset!
