This is a short article that will show you how to create the appearance of a big corporation without having to hire any employees. the main idea behind bootstrapping your business and becoming financially free is so you can live and do whatever you want with your extra time.

Here are some ideas for you to command the presence of a large company without having to hire any employees yourself:

1. Outsource customer service. You can get a fairly inexpensive 800 number with an operator that answers for you with a script. They will take a message or forward the call to you cell phone. There are many of these companies out there that will also record the conversation between the operator and customer so that you can hear the actual person’s question.

2. Outsource web development and servicing. There are plenty of hungry webmasters out there that are willing to run your site for very low fees. This can be a sticky point for some people, but if you do not have the talent to work on your own site-or the time, you can hook up with web designers from all over the world fairly easily.

3. Create a virtual office. Get a P.O. box at a bare minimum. You need to havea place where people can write to you. Customers want to know that you are not working out of your aunt’s garage. Even if you are, you need to be a professional and a P.O. Box isa good way to do that. Later, you can always rent a small place to hang your hat. Some communities even have co-op offices where multiple businesses share the same space to cut down on costs.

4. No inventory, drop-ship or go digital. There are plenty of fulfillment houses out there so that you don’t need to have 5,000 copies of your latest manifesto sitting in your living room. You can also promote digital-only products and that will eliminate your overhead completely. There is a cap on the price that people are willing to pay for digital products, so you may go the drop-shipping route for high dollar items. Drop-shipping will also keep you from getting ripped off as well.

5. Use freelancers to do the research for your next product. There are many freelance sites on the Web that will let you pay fairly low amounts of money for some high quality market research without having to spend the time doing it yourself. Maybe you have a really good idea for a project (or so you think). These freelancers can scour the Web and look at all the available data to tell you if your new market is big enough to sell a product to.
