Review:
I have been blogging before it was called blogging. I must say I learned a few things from this book. I love how this book explains to people that if you can write an email and attach a photo, then you have the basic skills to blog. It really can be that simple. But this book goes so much further, they clearly explain all of the ins and outs of blogging, monetizing your blog, and how you can grow as a blogger.
I love that this book is realistic, and simple to read. I love the charts when they discuss something like the benefits of using a variety of social media platforms. They clearly explain that the differences between twitter, facebook, and blogging care. This book walks you through what you need to do from the moment you login, to the point where you can cash checks as a blogger.
I honestly think in a sense this book did them a dis-service by only focusing on just the “Mommy Blogs”, because this book is great for any type of blogging. The chapters are clear, concise, and will help you start blogging, and it will answer so many questions that you have. If you are a mom who wants to blog, a person who wants to start a cooking blog, well this is the book you must pick up and read.
