Review:
Making money from home is something the majority of us aspire to do. Sitting on the couch while the paychecks come rolling — it really would be the dream. In James Garton’s guide on doing this, some good ways are laid out. Lots of great websites for references, lists, and of course the 25 ways themselves are not to be forgotten. Lots of “to the point” information on how to get started with some small-biz sort of opportunities, but the reality is, I’ve tried many of them before even reading this book. Have they worked? Didn’t really get far enough in to them. Is it possible? Sure, anything is.
What most people trying to make money from home don’t realize and as conveyed well in the book, it’s not going to happen overnight. It’s very far from easy. It takes much time, persistence, and some times never even provides results.
The lists of websites are probably my favorite part. It takes time to find legitimate websites to use for online ventures (i.e. advertising), especially good free ones. For $10, having the prep work in finding those sites alone was worth it.
So, I give the book 4/5 stars. No crazy, futuristic ideas and concepts, just the groundwork for many basic business models that exist, some background knowledge on what they are and how to start, and some pretty sweet lists! Thank you, James Garton!
